Rebecca has done a wonderful job teaching the kids and providing them resources and knowledge in a way that makes changing bodies and sexuality normal and not something to be ashamed about. I wish we’d all had the opportunity for this type of sex education growing up!

-Erin D., parent

Rebecca’s style is approachable, engaging, and informed. She’s easy to work with, and there is a normality and ease to the way she delivers the content to the students. She ensures everyone is comfortable and the content is also normalized. Her presentation and delivery of the content is very effective; it allowed for open dialogue between her and the students and allowed the students to become more comfortable with the topic.

-Nessima G., middle school teacher

The world has changed in my lifetime.  Once-taboo subjects still feel uncomfortable for me.  My own value system has been tested as I think about what to offer children so they have what I did not, and how to do it with a foundation built on science, respect, and trust.  Rebecca's confident approach, rooted in biology, and tinged with humor appropriate for middle school youngsters, draws in her audience and creates a safe place to listen and participate. In the past, the topics would have been biologically-based, only.  Rebecca’s work is far broader and treats human development and sexuality as critical threads in the larger fabric.

-Susan D., head of school (K-8)
